When is USBC going to fix the Hall of Fame?

Two of the greatest champions in USBC -- Gary Daroszewski and Dale Traber -- are not even on the USBC Hall of Fame ballot, which is exclusively PBA Tour stars.

I blogged on this:

The 11th Frame: Shame on the USBC: Daroszewski, Traber left off USBC Hall of Fame ballot

USBC no longer allows direct links on the forum. If you'd like to read the blog, you can access it at The 11th Frame at host (dot) madison (dot) com/sports/recreation/bowling/ It's about the sixth blog down as of Monday morning.

We received notification in the mail yesterday that the opening squad for the USBC Open has been moved from 7pm to 3pm. Does anyone have information as to why. From those that received the notification, there was no explanation.

2010 Opening Ceremonies

Looks like registration is going to be down a bit in 2010. I just received notice that the opening night squad (opening ceremonies, Joe Bowler, etc.) is happening at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. I called the tournament HQ to find out why and they told me that between the early afternoon squad on opening Saturday (usually a bunch of local teams) and the regular 7:00 p.m. opening ceremony squad they only had about 50 teams registered so they combined the two squads into one at 3:00 p.m.

Turkeyboy - we're going to bowl D/S on Sunday at 11:40 a.m. If you're not on that squad we can't do century doubles together. If you are on that squad I'll keep a spot open for you!

Does anyone have an update on the proposed stadium on Disney? The news has just died out and I was very excited about it when news originally broke. Last I heard, financing had fallen through and nothing since.... any updates?

Southwest Airlines

Hello All,

I am from the Milwaukee, WI area and Southwest Airlines has added their service from Milwaukee to Reno. I have been looking all over the place for flights, and in no way am I in panic mode. I am bowling March 12th & 13th and looking for flights from Thursday to Sunday. A group from my area are going the week before and they found flights from SW Air for around $250. Right now our weekend is looking around $350. My question for any of you folks that have had SW Air in your area for a while, do they normally come down after having the flights available for a while? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
